Why Vote?

Your Student Reps will represent you and your views to the Students' Union and to the University for the 2020-21 academic year.

These Reps have a seat at the table at important meetings, the ability to get issues on the agenda and access to the staff of Queen’s who can implement changes you and your fellow students want.

They really do have the ability to make a real impact on your student experience at Queen’s - so it makes sense that you vote for someone who you believe will listen to you and represent you well!

There are loads of reasons why you should vote below!

Council and Postgrad Reps have made some big improvements for students in the past, like:

  • Improving the quality of course content and teaching
  • Organising study skill sessions
  • Securing longer study space opening hours
  • Extending the dates of deadlines
  • Organising School Feedback Sessions to engage other students
  • Organising events with other student reps
  • Working with lecturers to improve the format of assessment and feedback
  • Helping signpost students to important support services

It’s all online, takes no time at all and we have handy Vote Step-By-Step and Vote Smart guides!

In the past, it has sometimes been a really close call between candidates, so every single vote really does count.
