If you want to lead the change and put yourself forward to be a Student Leader, you can stand for election for one of the the 6 Full-Time or 10 Part-Time Student Officer Positions, or our Faculty or School Rep roles.

You can Register Your Interest - without committing to anything - and our Student Voice team will support your through the process.

Make sure you submit your nomination form and equality monitoring form before the deadline.

Nominations for all positions close on Mon 7 Feb, 5pm.

Get all the info you need by attending some of our info and training sessions.

Attend a Candidate Info Session to find out about the roles and about standing for election.

Attend the Meet Your Student Officers to chat with the current Full-Time Student Officer team and hear about all the roles.

Attend an Effective Campaigning Workshop to help you plan your election campaign to be as successful as possible.

All roles: Make sure that you complete your election profile (photo, slogan, and manifesto) before the deadline.

Full-Time roles: Be sure to submit your Printed Election Materials for printing by the Students' Union. Materials submitted after the deadline will not be printed.

Attend this session with the QUBSU Marketing Team to record your Manifesto Video so you can be promoted as a candidate across Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

Candidates will be allocated a 30 minute slot to attend.

You must be available for your assigned timeslot if you wish to have a manifesto video created.

Have you got something you want to ask one of the candidates? Have you read something in one of the manifestos that you want to know more about? Now is your chance.

Submit your question/s to the Student Voice Team by 11am 18 Feb, using our Candidate Question Time question form.

Come along to this compulsory meeting to learn all you all you need to know about being a candidate in the Student Officer Elections.

You will receive an official briefing from the Returning Officer on the rules and on campaigning tips.

Full-Time Student Officer candidates will be sent details for the meeting after the close of nominations.

Printed campaign materials will be delivered and given out to candidates at this meeting. As soon as this meeting is over, it's all systems go. Good luck!
