The Mature and Part-Time Students' Officer:
- Is the voice of mature and part-time students in the Union, University and beyond
- Campaigns on issues of importance to mature and part-time students
- Encourages mature students and part-time students to become more involved in the Union
Any student who is recognised by the University as a mature student can stand and vote in this election. An undergraduate mature student is one who is at least 21 years of age on the 30 September in academic-year on which they commenced their programme of study. A postgraduate mature student is one who is at least 25 years of age on the 30 September in the academic-year on which they commenced their programme of study.
Any student who is recognised by the University as a part-time student can stand and vote in this election.
