PRO BONO! PRO YOU! VOTE PENNY FOR PGT LAW REP!

Hi! I’m Peniella, but you can call me Penny! 😊

I’m reading an LLM in International Commercial and Business Law, and I’m passionate about helping others and taking action where it matters.

WHY PRO BONO! PRO YOU?

As law students, we know pro bono as providing legal services for the public good. For me, it represents service, advocacy and putting people first. This campaign is about using my voice and position to represent yours.

WHY I AM RUNNING

I want to listen to you, represent your concerns and follow through on the issues that matter to you.

Having served in various student leadership roles, including as Treasurer of the Law Students’ Union in Ghana during my undergraduate studies, I’ve learnt that student welfare goes beyond the classroom.

As an international student who arrived in September, I also understand how unsettling it can be to settle into an unfamiliar place and navigate things on your own.

HERE IS WHAT I AIM TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

* An open forum for your concerns: A space to raise questions and concerns at any time, with relevant issues brought to the School authorities where necessary.

* A more connected PGT community: Working with Course Reps to organise PGT Law-specific connection events so we can build relationships and feel less alone in our student journey.

*Regular weekly updates: Keeping you informed through the appropriate student platform about concerns raised on your behalf and any progress made.

I recognise the efforts the School has already made, but there is always room to do better.

You are not alone in this.

If this is the kind of representation you want, vote Penny!
