Current PHD student in Geography, former SU president and postgrad officer. I have lots of experience fighting for students within the university and would love to continue to do so. Vote for me to ensure all students are represented and advocated strongly for in our SU.
Hi there!
Im Kieran a first year PHD student in the school of natural and built environment, specifically Geography. I am a former president of the SU (2024-2025) and postgrad officer before that.
I came to Queens to study a masters in ecology initially and have stayed since then. Throughout my time at Queens I have been heavily evolved in student life, clubs and socs, events and of course democracy and student voice. I have lots of experience over the last few years fighting for postgrads and our proper representation within the university and SU, both as an officer and as a student rep.
I have been on and off council during my time at Queens, with about 3 years of experience so I know how the system works and how to get the most done. I would love your support to allow me to continue to represent you and advocate for the student body.
My biggest focus would be on maintaing the broadest student voice in decisions that effect our union, ensuring the organisation represents us all. Advocating for the maintenance of union work that has helped students most day to day such as the pantry. Pushing for bigger and better events in our union and of course holding our elected officers accountable.
I tried to keep this short and to the point, but thank you for reading.
