Candidate for the position of Postgraduate Taught School Rep - School of Mathematics & Physics (SMP)

Sanjay Mohan

Your Voice.Your choice. Real results..

Hi everyone,

I’m Sanjay, and I’m standing for the position of School Representative.

I’m not here to make big promises that I can’t keep. I want to be someone who listens to students, understands their concerns, and makes sure their voices are heard.

My priorities:

1. Better Communication
I’ll help improve communication between students and the school by sharing important updates clearly and making sure students know where to go when they have questions or concerns.

2. Student Voice
I’ll listen to your opinions, suggestions, and problems and bring them forward to the relevant staff. Your feedback should not just be heard — it should be taken seriously.

3. Academic Support
I’ll encourage students to share difficulties with modules, coursework, deadlines, and learning resources so that common issues can be raised and addressed collectively.

4. Student Experience
I want to support more opportunities for students to connect, participate in activities, and feel part of the school community.

5. Open and Approachable
You should feel comfortable coming to me with an idea or concern. I’ll be approachable, respectful, and honest about what can and cannot be changed.

My promise

I may not be able to solve every problem, but I can promise to listen, communicate, represent, and follow up.

If you want a representative who will genuinely listen to you and speak up for you, I would really appreciate your vote.

Thank you!
