Supporting Students in charge of our Healthcare and the viability of our Planet in the Future.
As the Current Biological Sciences school rep I have attended Faculty and School Education Committee meetings and academic Board meetings with staff from many different areas of the Faculty and above. I am passionate about the opportunity to help students at a Faculty level and represent them in these higher-level meetings. My experience so far this year has allowed me to chair meetings in SBIO and therefore develop my skills in this area, I am not afraid to raise points to the Staff of our Faculty and Follow through to ensure they have listened. I have contributed towards the new development of a 'Sticky Campus' in SBIO and would love to help other schools develop active spaces for their students to feel welcome.
My experience this year will allow me to jump straight into this role with a good understanding.
