Rape Crisis Northern Ireland is a non-governmental organisation and support service for anyone who is 16 and over and has experienced sexual assault and rape in adulthood. Volunteer opportunities include one-to-one Support Workers, who provide weekly emotional support to survivors for up to six months as part of their healing journey.
Accredited training is provided (OCN Level 3 Award in Working with Survivors of Rape & Sexual Abuse). Volunteers can also assist with Information & Support Services through their phone line and webchat, and those who support indirectly through communications, awareness-raising activities and events.
