BEGINNER SQUAD
Each year we welcome a new intake of students with no prior rowing experience to try rowing. Training sessions take place between the Queen's Sport Boathouse (29 Lockview Road) and the Queen's PEC. Beginners will learn the basics of rowing or coxing, and will then have the opportunity to compete against other UK and Irish Universities during racing season.
Beginners will start with 2 weeks of taster sessions after which a 6 week Learn-to-Row course takes place.

Last season, QUBLBC entered their first ever crews into Henley Royal Regatta; while these did not qualify for racing, we are keen to persevere with this prestigous event- perhaps you are the member we need!
Our Winter Dinner will take place in November in the Whitla Hall, all members and Alumni welcome.
Whether you would like to row competitively or recreationally, we would strongly encourage anyone- experienced or otherwise- to come down and row with us.
