Welcome to DAAS, Heres what we are all about!!

  1. Hosting educational events: This includes talks or workshops that cover topics related to domestic abuse, such as recognizing signs of abuse, understanding the impact of abuse on survivors, and learning how to provide support.

  2. Fundraising for local organizations:  partnering with local organizations that provide support to survivors of domestic abuse and organizing fundraising events to support their work.

  3. Creating awareness campaigns: developing posters, social media campaigns, aqnd other materials that help raise awareness about domestic abuse and encourage people to take action to prevent it.

  4. Providing support to survivors: We work to provide support to survivors of domestic abuse, whether that's through connecting them with resources or providing emotional support.

Every year, Student Leaders are elected to represent the 25,000 students at Queen’s and to lead the Union. There are 34 roles available: 6 Full-Time Student Officers; 3 Undergraduate Faculty Representatives; 10 Student Association Chairpersons; and 15 Undergraduate School Representatives.
