About

The Feminist and Equality Society is a society full of people who are passionate about feminism and want to learn more about what feminism is, and what it means to them. We create a space for members to meet others, join in with activism, raise money and awareness for charity and to help educate not only themselves but others.  We focus on a wide range of issues including but not limited too, access to abortion, LGBTQ+ rights and men's mental health. It is our hope to be a place of support for all individuals, providing meet up's to guage issues that our members are interested in and forming friendships through a variety of social events.

We currently hold a monthly book club, including a variety of books from fiction / non-fiction to poetry. Further to this, we hold regular talks with prominent individuals and provide post information for a variety of issues across our social media. Our social events focus on members meeting new people and enjoying a safe space with eachother. All our events and updates are communicated through weekly emails and via posts on our social medias and group chats.

We hope to see you soon!
