About

The Feminist and Equality Society is a society full of people who are passionate about feminism and want to learn more about what feminism is, and what it means to them. We create a space for members to meet others, join in with activism, raise money and awareness for charity and to help educate not only themselves but others.  We focus on a wide range of issues including but not limited too, access to abortion, LGBTQ+ rights and men's mental health. It is our hope to be a place of support for all individuals, providing meet up's to guage issues that our members are interested in and forming friendships through a variety of social events.

***This year we are proudly supporting NEXUS, The Rainbow Project and Bamoko NI***

We host a variety of events throughout the year, such as regular talks with prominent individuals and informative and empowering sessions with local mental and sexual health organisations.  We also provide post information for a variety of issues across our social medias, in particular through our Instagram account. Our social events are held at least monthly and focus on members meeting new people and enjoying a safe space with eachother. Details of these events are shared on our Instagram account and through monthly email updates.

Registration and event admission will always be completely free to ensure that this society is accessible for anyone who may want to attend. If you have any requests on how we can make our events more accessible to you, please let us know! We hope to see you soon!
