✨🇭🇰WELCOME TO THE HK SOCIETY 26/27!!🇭🇰 ✨

Welcome to the HK Society — your home away from home here at Queen's.

We are a community built on friendship, culture, and the shared joy of good food, good company, and great craic. Whether you're from Hong Kong, have family ties there, or simply want to learn more about the culture, you'll find a warm welcome waiting for you here. We're all about bringing people together, celebrating our heritage, and sharing it with anyone who's curious — no matter where you're from.

This year, we're especially excited to launch our brand-new Mahjong Classes! Mahjong is more than just a game — it's a beloved tradition, a social ritual, and a brilliant way to meet people and have fun. You don't need to be from Hong Kong, you don't need to be from Asia, and you don't need any experience whatsoever. Whether you've grown up playing or you've never even seen a tile before, our classes are designed to be friendly, relaxed, and open to absolutely everyone. Come along, learn the ropes, and discover why this game has brought people together for generations. It's the perfect chance to try something new, make new friends, and pick up a skill you'll have for life. Beyond mahjong, we host a range of events throughout the year — from socials and cultural celebrations to food nights and casual meet-ups — all designed to bring our members together and create a community that feels like family.

So whether you're a first-year just finding your feet, a returning student, or someone who's simply curious about Hong Kong culture, we'd love for you to be part of our story. Come as you are — everyone is welcome, and everyone belongs here. We can't wait to meet you.

If you have any questions please feel free to email us or text us on our Instagram! Looking forward to seeing everyone this year!
