Welcome to the Tamil Society at Queen's University Belfast! We are a growing society, passionately dedicated to promoting the rich Tamil language and culture. Whether you're Tamil or simply curious to learn more about one of the world's oldest living cultures, we welcome everyone from all backgrounds to come and join us in celebrating this beautiful community.
In the past, the society has organised events such as: a meet and greet, potlucks to celebrate Pongal and Diwali, movie nights and games nights.
This year, our society aims to bring the community together once again through even more exciting events. Stop by and have chat with us at the freshers fair on Tuesday 16th September 2025 where you can sign up to be a member of this amazing society!
