Hi, I’m Kelly and I am running for Social Sciences, Education and Social Work (SSESW) undergraduate school representative. I am a year 2 Criminology undergraduate student.
I am running for this role as would like the opportunity to represent fellow students in voicing their views and opinions so we can shape the school into being a fully integrated, represented body for all students.
With many students struggling academically and mentally during the Covid-19 pandemic I would strive to make sure your concerns are heard, I will ensure your voice matters,
In going forward, I would address the following:
- Introduce more educational field trips.
- Encourage more companies to participate in job fairs to offer specific roles and opportunities for Social Science students
- More support and recognition for Social Work and Education students.
- A newsletter once a semester, keeping you in the loop as to what is happening in your school.
