Communication is important. It can be challenging to express your thoughts, sentiments, and emotions, especially when doing so takes you outside of your comfort zone. You feel lonely and alone. But don't worry, I'm here to speak on your behalf and bring up your issues. As a member of the Student Union Council, I hope to address your concerns, address underlying problems, expand opportunities, and broaden our perspectives and expertise through our collective collaboration.
The tenets of my manifesto are:
- Communication and networking
- Closing the communication gap between students, module leaders, course reps, and instructors.
-Promoting student participation through the organisation of social and intellectual events.
-Raising students' awareness of the career-related services that are accessible to them, such as career counselling, CV editing, etc.
- Raising awareness of the free resources and services offered by universities that are available to students.
-Setting up one-on-one sessions to offer advise and help with problems.
-Making sure that the student voice is heard and supporting them by providing the faculty with insightful feedback in order to effect the necessary adjustments.
