Why vote for me?
I have a wealth of experience in representing students on a local and national level;
- Former FE Student Officer
- Former QUBSU Councillor
- Former NUS-USI Officer
I am aware of how Council works and how it can impact the work that the student union does at Queens. I am aware that students come with many different issues, and I will ensure that everyone is represented correctly but also will act as a signpost for students to come to so they get the correct information.
I promise to;
- Attend as many council meetings as I can
- Promote the student's voice and ensure our views are represented
- Create motions that affect the students on the ground
- Hold our Student Officers to account for the decisions they make and the work that they do
- Listen to the students that I represent and present their issues at the local level
- Ensure our student union is being run in the most effective way
How do I vote (it's really simple and you can do it online);
- Log onto QOL on 6th October 2022 from 7 am
- Go to online voting
- Find the person you want to vote for (hopefully me) and list them 1 to etc in order of preference. (if there is someone whom you’ve promised your first preference to, please give me your second etc as this will help me to be elected).
- That’s it. It’s simple, quick and easy to do.
So please take your time to read through the Manifestos of all candidates and make your decision. Even if you don’t want to vote for anyone, you always can vote for Reopen Nominations (aka RON).
