I'm currently in my final year of Bachelor of Laws (LLB). Back in Malaysia, I was the qualified St. John First Aider who volunteering for various kind of events, like concerts, marathon, walkathon, sports competition and etc. During the peak of covid-19, I was one of the member who volunteer to send foods to the orphanage and to those in need. I have been taking on leadership roles since I was in primary school, organising various kind of events. I love helping people because I always feel happy when seeing people smiling after they have been benefited. Being an international student, I understand the issues facing by the international students out there.
If I have been chosen as the International Student Representative, I would like to bring out a few issues which includes:
FOOD- Lobby with the university to provide more Non-European eating options on campus. (e.g: Chinese, Indian, Thai and Korean Food.)
CULTURAL- Organise some international cultural events that involve all international students, like traditional costume competiton, food festival and music events .
FEES- A more flexible installment payment should be given to the international students.
JOBS- More on campus jobs offering to the international students in order for them to earn some living expenses and gain new connection.
