Dariya-Mariya Petryshyn; for the students!
Hi Everyone!
Thank you for taking the time to read my manifesto.
I am in my final year of the LLB Senior Status Law program here at Queens. I am an international student from Canada.
I am and have been a very active member of QUB and hope to make even more change this year. I am the Vice-President of the QUB Law Society, I have been a member of the Senior Status Law Society for two years now and was a councillor last year for the International Students at Queens, including INTO. I also attended the NUS-USI National Student Union meeting last March and was elected to be a councillor for the steering committee. Through that, myself and my team plan to hold the NUS-USI President accountable and ensure that student voices are heard and that meaningful change is made. This year, I hope to make our voices heard even more and contribute to the Student Union meetings as much as possible. My goals are to make sure that we the students, have a say in what our student union does for us.
