I want to make sure that students develop a passion for nature and that our university is taking the environment into consideration when making decisions.
I have been invoved with climate activism for a long period of time now starting with eco-club in school where we achived the Green flag.
I also am a part of the Ulster Wildlife Youth Forum, we attended both the COP 27 and 28 rally in Belfast to have our voices heard by local politicians. We also got to meet with DAERA to put our ideas forward regarding Northern Irelands first Climate Action Plan for 2023-27.
As an I Will Ambassador I also have had the chance to be on the Future Forum, whihc allows me to work with other passionate young people around the environment.
I have also recently joined the Climate Action Group at Queens.
I would like to try and get as many students as possible involved in looking after our planet and to help students discover the benefit of nature.
