My name is ABD UR REHMAN DOGAR. I am currently studying Management. I love impacting the lives of peoples positively wherever I find myself. My hobbies includes Horse Riding, Swimming, Boxing and travelling. I am vyling for the post of Student Officer.
I strongly believe that the welfare of students is key to attaining academic excellence. It is therefore imperative for students to elect someone who understands their interest and who is committed to safeguard such interests.
I believe every student deserves to be heard and the student voice has the power to make change. You deserve to see positive change all I will work tirelessly to see that happen.
I am friendly and approachable and will make time and space to listen to you .
I have the requisite skills and ability to function effectively as student officer of elected.
Engage the University Management in ensuring that lectures are recorded and made available to student.
To work with the School management in ensuring that the restaurants and cafes on campus sells food that represents the adverse nature of students of QUB . Queens is an international university with students all over the world and I think it is fair that the food sold on campus should be cater for all.
Support the Mental Health awareness program of QUB by encouraging all QUB students to take advantage of QUB commitment in rendering supports to students with mental health issues.
Create awareness and encourage students to take advantage of the numerous student support services available on campus such as students counselling and wellbeing centre.
Partner with QUB career services that students take advantage of the resources available in securing their dream jobs.
Partner with all class representatives and school officers in tackling any challenge that will otherwise affect the academic interest and welfare of students.
To ensure that all the union programs are centred on promoting the culture of Equality,Diversity and Inculsion.
To consistently and frequently represents the views and interests of all students especially as it concerns to their education and welfare before the school management.
To promptly respond to complaints faced by the students in their academic pursuit.
The Growth and Development of people is the Highest Calling of Leadership.
