But what even is Liberal Arts? We’re the pick and mix sweets display of arts, humanities and social sciences. Students are free to pick their own academic pathway and select modules from most AHSS subjects, meaning everyone on the course has wildly different experiences and approaches. Don’t worry! There’s absolutely no need to study Liberal Arts (or even humanities!) to join; we thrive on diverse perspectives and interests. Whether you’re fascinated by languages, studying literature or want to discuss philosophy, we’re creating a space as varied as our namesake course. You’ll find opportunities to dive into your passions and connect with others.

We host a variety of low-stakes events with a focus on inclusion, discussion and meeting people you might not have interacted with otherwise – think quizzes, debates and film screenings. We’re all about expanding knowledge while still having fun! University isn’t just about studying – it’s about forming friendships, exploring new ideas and engaging with your community.
