About

Open to ALL QUB mature students, MatSoc is dedicated to providing social & academic opportunities for anyone who wants to join us. We have facilitated collaboration between postgraduate & undergraduate students on projects of mutual interest. We offer a different atmosphere from the usual hubbub of university life, with less of a focus on alcohol-related activities. If this sounds like your cup of tea (or coffee), then feel free to send us an email/DM with your student number and expression of interest.

WHAT WE DO:

  • Regular coffee mornings
  • Mindfulness sessions
  • Board games and pizza nights
  • Quiz night in the SU Wee Bar
  • Field trips/days out
