(We are open to members from all courses, you don't need to study aerospace.)
Hello, and welcome to the QUB Aerospace Society!
Our society is based around two elements, competing in space related competetions and rocketry development. This society started after the core members competed at the 2023 Airbus 'In Space Assembly Competition.' This was held in England where most of the competitions will be, it is our goal to bring our members over to compete during the year.
What will you get up to?
As a member of the aerospace society you can work on a project team towards one of the various competitions we plan on entering. The competitions we are currently looking at are a mars rover, satellite design and rocketry! We will also be hosting a number of social nights such as booking film theatres to watch everyones's favourite space movies that they missed in the cinema as well as hearing from experienced guest speakers from all across the space industry.
Membership
Don't worry, you don't have to be an aerospace student or even an engineering student to join. There is a space for anyone who shows interest and initiative. New members are asked to fill out our sign up form above, it should take no more than 30 seconds. After that you’ll be added to our mailing list to be kept informed about all our events. (Don’t worry, we won’t spam)
