About

Welcome to QUAC!

Archery is an ancient practice in weaponry and a modern sport all about precision and diligence. As a club we hope to share our knowledge and get as many people interested in archery as possible.

We accept archers of all experience levels and abilities from complete beginners who have never held a bow before to archers competing at national level. We want our members to get as much out of archery as they want so whether that’s competing at national competitions or just coming to archery once a week for a bit of fun to de-stress from classes there is a spot for you in our club!

If you are a beginner with little to no archery experience we run a beginners course twice a year commencing in September and January respectively. To be notified about our next begginers course please fill in the form bellow and you will be emailed at the relevant time: https://forms.office.com/e/MNhhuq8ftr

We train on Monday nights from 6pm – 8pm in the PEC. You do not need to have your own equipment as we do have Club equipment that you can use, however if you do have your own bow feel free to bring it with you to training.

Outside of normal training, we like to run social events, fun shoots and archer competitions. In the past we have run events like weekly post-training pub adventures, pub crawls, bingo nights, movie nights, board game nights, intervarsity with Ulster University and the ever popular Halloween and Christmas fun shoots but we are always looking for new ideas – so feel free to suggest them.

So if you’re keen to join a friendly community of students who are enthusiastic about their sport and join an active club with lots of opportunities to make friends and socialise (Or just get in touch with your inner Robin hood, Legolas or Hawkeye once a week) Then QUAC might be the club for you

Don’t forget to follow us on social media to make sure you don’t miss anything and please feel free to send us an email if you have any queries.

We look forward to having you join us :D
