Queen’s Hockey Club was formed in 1898 and encompasses both the Men’s and Women's Hockey Clubs here at Queens. At present, we have seven teams, five Women's and two Men’s.

Women's training takes place on Monday and Wednesday nights at the Queen’s University playing fields at Upper Malone.
Everyone is welcome, no matter what your standard, be that from representative players all the way through to those who have never even picked up a stick before but are interested in starting something new and embracing university life by joining a fun, welcoming and enjoyable club.

We are a successful club both on and off the pitch and find time to enjoy plenty of social events throughout the year, which act to help unite all teams across both the Women's and Men’s Clubs. These include the Christmas Dinner, Varsities, End of Season dinners and of course, the ever successful UV parties held twice a year, which are guaranteed to be a fantastic nights for all.
As well as social events, we hold several fundraisers throughout the year such as pub quizzes and raffles. Queen’s Hockey has had a fantastic run of successful seasons of late and we feel that one of the main reasons for this is that we are a close-knit club where everyone is welcome to join in, enjoy themselves and have the chance to compete at a high level at a sport which we all love.
We cannot stress enough how important it is to embrace university life and what better way to do it than by playing hockey with us!
