About

After a brief hiatus, we are back to welcome you to Inclusion Society 2024!

We’re so excited to announce the launch of QUB Inclusion – the society for students with disabilities, chronic illnesses and those who are neuro-diverse! Our aim is to create an accessible social scene for ALL students here at Queen’s University Belfast, as well as amplifying the student voice and raise awareness on campus.

One of the most important parts of university is meeting new people! We all love a good pub crawl and fantastic night out but these aren’t always the most accessible. We want host activities that all students can attend – in essence, I think there will be a lot of coffee, cake & cafes involved. In the future, we hope to be planning music nights, films nights, comedy nights – you name it!

Here's your committee for 2024!

QUB Inclusion includes all QUB students and staff. There’s no means test to join, there’s no specific criteria you have to meet. You have a disability? Welcome. You have a chronic illness, mental and/or physical? Welcome. You just want to meet a bunch of new people? Welcome.

Friends are meant to support each other, but we’re not a support group per se. We’re just a group of regular people who all have different personalities, interests and hobbies and, like anyone, just want to meet new people and have a laugh.

We also hope that this is going to be a great platform for student activism. Let’s raise awareness! Let’s change things for the better! Let’s make sure that Queen’s University Belfast is an accessible and safe campus for all students!

For the committee before us, this society was a labour of love, and we can’t wait to keep this energy going! At its core, it’s just about meeting new people and making friends. It’s about feeling seen and heard and included.

And, at the end of the day, isn’t that what we all want?
