About

Our society aims to encourage a love and comprehension of the environment, wildlife and current issues involving both. It is open to all people interested in things related to this, not just students on the Marine Biology or Zoology pathways. We host talks given by organisations, academics and post-grad students. This gives our members a chance to learn more about the topics that interest them and gain an understanding of what a day in the life of a marine biologist/zoologist looks like. We host quiz nights (with pizza!), regular outings, talks and competitions.  We aim to build a support network of students and accademics of all levels to enable our members to gain experience and confidence in the marine biology and zoology community. To become a member please send us an email with your full name, student number and qub email (if you have one) and please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions!
