About

We are a multidisciplinary and diverse group of students who engage in hill-walking, sport climbing, bouldering, and traditional climbing. We also run trips to Scotland for Winter Climbing.

In a normal year, we would meet at the PEC Climbing Wall on a Tuesday and Thursday nights to climb, hang out with people, learn new skills, and just have a great time. We would also take multi-day climbing trips to the Mournes, Donegal, Spain, Wicklow, Scotland, Gola, and the Peak District.

However, this year is going to be quite different. But we're excited to continue climbing albeit much closer to home in our local Mourne Mountains.

As a club, we are excited to welcome you and do all we can, within the guidelines, to get you into climbing and hillwalking and pushing limits while minding our ankles and new Covid regulations.

Our governing body is Mountaineering Ireland, and we will be working with them and the University to ensure whatever we do will keep us out of trouble.
