Queens’ Netball club provides the opportunity for the female students of QUB to practise the sport of netball, both for recreational and competitive purposes within a structured and progressive environment. The club welcomes players of all abilities to the club and provides two training sessions per week. The training days are Mondays 5 - 7pm and Wednesdays 2 - 4pm, and both take place in the PEC Minor Hall. 

There are three competitive squads who compete in matches regularly as well as training twice a week. We will hold trials at the start of October decide the teams. An intervarsity competition is held annually and the locations varies each year depending on which university is holding the tournament. This year it will be held at UCD in Dublin! This is a fun and competitive weekend that the whole club can be involved in.

We also take Part in the SSI Netball League, which typically takes place between October and November. This is a great opportunity for our players to get some competitive and fun match play.

Wednesday training is more recreational so feel free to come along if you are a beginner or want to play non competitively. We welcome players of all abilities, whether you have prior experience or what to try something new! So feel free to come along!

We also arrange some friendlies throughout the year and we are hoping to create even more opportunities for our social players to get some friendly, enjoyable match play with other social players!

In addition to training and match play we also organise a number of socials throughout the year including our highly anticipated Kit Night Out.
