Queens’ Netball club provides the opportunity for the female students of QUB to practise the sport of netball, both for recreational and competitive purposes within a structured and progressive environment. The club welcomes players of all abilities to the club and provides two training sessions per week. The training days are Mondays 4.30 - 6pm and Wednesdays 2 - 4pm, and both take place in the PEC Minor Hall. 

There are three competitive squads training for our much anticipated Intervasity Competition. We also enter two teams into the SSI league, weekly training and matches. We will hold trials between the end of September and the start of October deciding the teams. The intervarsity competition is held annually and the locations varies each year depending on which university is holding the tournament. 

The SSI Netball League typically takes place between October and early December. This is a great opportunity for our players to get some competitive and fun match play. This year there is potential for even more matches, with possible travel overseas to tournaments in the works too, so keep an eye out!

Wednesday training is more recreational so feel free to come along if you are a beginner or want to play non competitively. We welcome players of all abilities, whether you have prior experience or what to try something new! So feel free to come along!

We arrange some friendlies throughout the year, incluidng mixed tournaments. For the last two years we have held very successful all gender matches and this has proven popular with all players who have taken part! 

 We also provide Socials, ranging from Club nights, Pub Crawls, Quizes, social runs and much more. A great way to get to know your team mates and make friends for life. QUB Netball is on and off the court!
