Underwater hockey, or octopush, is a fun, fast paced and exhilarating team sport played with short sticks and a puck at the bottom of the pool. Players wear fins, a mask, a snorkel, a protective glove and headgear. The stick is short, approximately a foot long, the puck is heavy, around 1.2 kg, and the goal is 3 meters long. It is a very unique game in that it is 3-dimensional and requires you to play while holding your breath. It makes a lot more sense if you check out our videos and social media sites to help you visualise it!
