A new society to help women and all minority STEM students on campus thrive socially, professionally and academically.

We are a community all about making new connections and improving awareness of diversity, equality and inclusion! 

Whether you need advice finding placement, want to make new friendships or need a bit of a break from exam stress, we are always here for you. Feel free to pop into any of our events. Our Instagram and Linkedin is kept up to date with everything going on. If you are worried about coming alone, feel free to drop us a DM on Insta or email us. That way, you can get to know one of our committee members before you arrive :)

Our events so far have included:

-Christmas Quiz

-Freshers Bingo

-Talks and skills workshops from local employers

-Dress as your degree night

-Study sessions

-Lots of free pizza

 

Membership is FREE and all members receive:

Emails of all upcoming events/updates

Access to a list of resources compiled by our excellent committee

 

 

 

REMEMBER:

Everyone is welcome to all of our events! You don't have to be on a 'traditional' STEM pathway. All genders are welcome. We want to raise the profile of all minority STEM students on campus.

SU Elections 2024

Every year, Student Leaders are elected to represent the 25,000 students at Queen’s and to lead the Union. There are 34 roles available: 6 Full-Time Student Officers; 3 Undergraduate Faculty Representatives; 10 Student Association Chairpersons; and 15 Undergraduate School Representatives.
