About

We are the Queen's University Belfast Association of the Ulster Young Unionists - the youth branch of the Ulster Unionist Party (UUP).

The Queen's Young Unionists promote the Ulster Unionist Party's #UnionOfPeople on campus, engaging with students from all backgrounds and traditions to share a vision of a pragmatic and progressive future for Northern Ireland within the United Kingdom.

The QUB Young Unionists meet regularly for both social and political activities.

Recently we have visited Stormont, had a quiz night at the Speakeasy with our election candidates, and engaged with local councillors and MLAs including party leader Doug Beattie MC MLA, Mike Nesbitt MLA and Robbie Butler MLA.

Our members are from different courses and not just those related to politics and it is a great way to make new friends and discuss the issues that matter to you.

Get in touch to find out more, or to join the pragmatic unionists on campus!
