I have headed the student council in high school for two consecutive years providing me with ample exposure towards the leadership world and being able to communicate with the student body. I would like to implement my skillset at a bigger level here and provide you with a leader you can rely on and who will tend to your questions and queries.
- Proper guidance on what your assignments and/or class tests are worth in your final score.
- Constructive feedback provided with an opportunity to get justification for the said feedback in person.
- Alongwith PAL sessions, more opportunities made available to get your doubts cleared in the rest of the week (An online platform where any student from the faculty can provide feedback or help with doubts at any time of the week.
- An anonymous online forum set up for students to address their queries and issues that will be addressed by the EPS council before being put forth in front of the student council.
- Complete transparency in the working of the university in terms of academia, assessment and other major aspects, like attendance and deadlines.
- All council members contacts will be accessible at all times during the week for anything and everything.
- The minutes of the council meetings will be made accessible to anyone who wants to know the working of the meetings.
- Personal Support and Wellbeing
- Providing confidential peer support for students facing personal issues and to address their problems.
- An anonymous wellbeing survey to be conducted monthly for students to brign forth their issues and provided with consensual one-to-one counseling.
- Bringing in experts from the science fields to provide guidance and inspiration for students in the same field of study as them. It will ensure a hollistic approach and will help in making an informed decision if and when the students are planning to enter the professional world (after completion of course or placement years).
