Hello Everyone! My name is Gabriel Yang and I'm running for the position of International Students’ Association Chairperson.
As an International Student going into final year, I have gone through the highs and lows of being far away from home. The most amazing thing about International Students is our capability in adapting to a new environment, which I am extremely proud of. Coming from different cultural, ethnic and social backgrounds but being able to fit in is no easy fit and that is why I'd like to applaud all our International friends.
I'd like this association to be the medium of inclusivity for all International Students and as a front to all International Students in QUB. The slogan 'Unity in Diversity' would be the main goal to unite everyone from different and diverse backgrounds into one with this association.
I believe that I'll be able to lead this association to it's potential with my experience so far during my time in University.
