About Me
Mischa Gerrard - History and Politics BA
As an activist and campaigner, I have been involved in environmental, LGBTQ+ and immigration-related activism, but since joining university my efforts have primarily been focused on student activism and the current cost of living crisis, working as part of Solidarity Action Network to champion the students of QUB.
Being a neurodivergent student belonging to a religious minority, I know first-hand what it feels like to self-advocate. In addition to this, as Head Girl at my previous college, I gained skills as both a leader and representative, equipping me with invaluable experience I intend to bring to the role of HAPP rep.
Communication is vital for productive change to take place. As your school rep, I intend to amplify the voice of the student body, representing what matters most to you and ensuring that all views are taken into account. I want the students of HAPP to feel free to express themselves and truly feel heard and listened to.
