Hi I’m Taran and I am currently Intercalating at Queen’s. I am one of the Founders and outgoing President of the Society. We set up the society with two goals in mind, firstly to encourage students to explore a career in internal medicine specialities and secondly, to support our fellow medical students academically. I coordindated and launched the ten week peer to peer teaching scheme that ran in Semester 1 and contributed heavily to our very successful clinical summaries. Moving into the new academic year, I want to continue my ongoing efforts to support my peers and to enhance the quality and quantity of resource our fantastic little society puts out. I have a clear sense of direction in which way to steer efforts to best meet the demands of the society's members so would be an appropriate candidate for the role of the Education Officer Lead / Summaries Lead.
