We need proper and progressive considerations for LGBT+ students at Queens!
As President of Queens Pride Society I feel I can be a strong point of contact for all LGBT+ students.
I want to make Queens a place where LGBT+ students thrive!

In the past year we have seen a staggering rise in transphobia and anti-LGBT+ hate crimes. We need to use our institutions to push back and defent the rights of all trans people, and especially our students.
Organising and devoting time to the Pride Society has made me realise, we need Queer friendly spaces more then ever. I want students to feel like they can discover themselves and be supported in ever way by the SU and University. I have also written an article for The Gown student newspaper defending trans rights in sports.
LGBT+ students also need more ways of branching out and meeting people. I'd love to work with societies to have more LGBT+ awareness and events that any student can come to!
Ultimately, I want to hear students opinions and ideas and make those a reality. I will take your input seriously and make sure it reaches the top.
