Your Voice Matters! – Empowering Mature and Part-Time Students to Succeed. A vote for me is a vote to have your voice heard and represented at the university.
I stand for the Mature and Part-Time Student Chairperson role because I believe in building a more inclusive and supportive environment for all students, regardless of their age, background, or commitments. I am committed to ensuring mature and part-time students receive the support they need to thrive at Queen's University.

Building a Stronger Community
- Encourage greater involvement of mature and part-time students in university societies by advocating for more flexible meeting times and events.
- Foster a sense of belonging by organising more networking and social events tailored to mature and part-time students.
- Create support groups and peer networks where students can share their experiences, challenges, and solutions.
Equitable Access to Services
- Ensure that mature and part-time students have equal access to essential services, such as financial aid, counselling, and career development, with flexible availability to match their schedules.
- Work towards improving the availability of family-friendly facilities and services for students who are parents or have caring responsibilities.
A Voice for Mature and Part-Time Students
- Act as a strong and clear voice for mature and part-time students, ensuring that our needs and concerns are taken seriously by the university.
- Regularly consult with students to gather their feedback and ideas to accurately represent the diverse experiences and perspectives of our community.
I believe that Queen's University can be a place where mature and part-time students are fully supported, not only academically but also socially and personally. My goal is to increase involvement in societies and campus life for all mature and part-time students, ensuring they feel welcome and included. Together, we can create a university experience that works for everyone.
