Bryan Yi Lam Tong

A voice that listens, acts, and delivers. I stand for transparent representation, stronger academic support, fair assessment, and real student wellbeing. I will bridge students and staff, turn feedback into action, and ensure every Pharmacy student at QUB feels heard, supported, and empowered to succeed.

Pharmacy is challenging, and none of us should feel like we’re struggling alone. I’m running because I care about making our time here clearer, fairer, and more supportive.

1. Real Representation, Real Change

I will actively gather student feedback and bring clear, constructive solutions to the Student Council, not just raise issues, but follow through until outcomes are delivered.

2. Academic Support and Fairness

I will advocate for clearer assessment criteria, timely feedback, balanced workloads, and better alignment between lectures, labs, and exams, so effort is rewarded fairly.

3. Student Wellbeing That Goes Beyond Words

Pharmacy is demanding. I will push for realistic scheduling, assessment spacing, and improved access to well-being and academic support, especially during exam periods.

4. Stronger Communication Between Students and Staff

I will ensure students are informed, consulted, and represented early, not after decisions are made.

5. A More Inclusive School of Pharmacy

Every student matters. I will champion inclusivity, accessibility, and equal opportunities across all year groups.

I believe small changes make a big difference, like clearer expectations, better communication, and more understanding around pressure points during the year. I’ll work to make sure student voices are heard early, not after problems pile up.

I won’t just represent you, I’ll work for you.
