Representing the views and opinions of everyone to make meaningful change
I am a 3rd year Biological Sciences student who has been your school rep for 25/26 and your course rep for a further 2 years. I am passionate about student voice and representing the views and opinions of my peers to bring positive meaningful change to the School of Biological Sciences. I want to represent the School of Biological Sciences in the coming year on all academic and student affairs whether it be lecture recordings, canvas issues, issues within the Biological Sciences building or timetabling errors. I also want to continue my aim of building up the positive relationship between staff and students and represent everyone equally. This year I have helped build the 'Sticky Campus', been involved in the lecture recording roll out system, and have got some modules restructured for the coming academic year. Throughout the next school year, I will address key issues including school funding, module content reviews and restructuring, timetabling issues and advocate for better exam/assessment deadlines.
