Listening. Acting. Representing.
I am a third-year PhD student in the School of Biological Sciences and have previously served multiple times as a course representative. Through this role, I have gained experience raising student concerns, working through issues, and making sure they are properly followed up.
I am standing for School Representative to support students across academic, research, and wellbeing-related matters. This includes communication within the School, access to opportunities, facilities, EDI, and the overall student experience.
One area I would particularly like to improve is networking and connection between students. Research and study can often feel isolating, and I want to help strengthen links between students across different labs, year groups, and programmes, encouraging a more connected and supportive community.
Alongside this, I will focus on clear communication and accountability, ensuring that student feedback is not only heard but acted upon, and that outcomes are shared back transparently.
I am approachable, committed, and genuinely care about improving the student experience. If this reflects the representation you want, I would really appreciate your vote.
