Join Andy from Health Matters, one of the UK and Ireland’s premier Health and Safety organisations, who will be delivering a Basic First Aid Workshop to support student who are also volunteers.
This Basic First Aid course aims to equip you with the key information to act effectively in the event of a first aid emergency, including the ability to:
- carry out a primary survey
- ensure the safety of yourself and others
- place an unresponsive casualty, who is breathing normally, into the recovery position
- know when and how to deliver CPR to an unresponsive casualty who is not breathing normally
Tea/coffee provided and all participants will be given a meal deal voucher for The Union Shop at the end of the session.
